This tillering BMR forage corn, with the BM-3 gene (more digestible than BM-1), provides the grower with a highly digestible silage or forage crop, with strong yields that can be enhanced by plant tillering, in as little as 60 days. With yields that match industry-leading BMR hybrids, MaxPro Pure offers a very high sugar content and high crude protein numbers. You can expect excellent NDFD-30 and TTNDFD numbers for incredible fiber digestibility. When looking at fresh, non-fermented samples, MaxPro Pure averaged NDFD-30 scores of 60.0 (compared to non-BMR hybrids at 57.7) and TTNDFD scores of 46.0 (compared to non-BMRs at 42.8). Incredibly, it isn’t just the fiber digestibility scores that impress. In the same testing, MaxPro Pure showed nearly identical starch digestbility as the non-BMR hybrids, with 7-hour starch scores averaging 66.4 (compared to 66.5 in the non-BMR hybrids).
